it's a weakness that presents in the pasterns...a pastern that slopes WAY too steeply:

not a good thing. not sure there's a lot you can do with it, other than just treat it. Incurable, and a horse that suffers with it will never be sound.

I boarded at a barn where there was a horse who's legs looked like that. Never saw anyone riding her or working with her... She was a very sweet little arab... poor lady, I always felt bad for her... not that she was neglected, it was 90 acres of horsey paradise.

It's something I really know nothing about. I've heard it said about former harness racers that are up for adoption. I looked it up and this was informative for me:

What does having a "weak suspensory" mean to you?

What can you do to help a horse with this (ie, shoeing, leg wraps, supplements)?

Would the age of the horse factor in to what you do to help?
