So Ive decided to look into becoming a vet tech as Ive heard there is a shortage? I live in lower michigan,does anyone have any good recomendations for which schools to look into and where to look for grant info? Theres sooooo much crap out there,its hard to sort the good from the scams.....
Sell my horse?Why,when I have this perfectly good extra kidney that Im not even usen!

I think you will have great success as a vet tech. Sorry I don't know much about schools in your area. You might consider stopping by some of the local vet clinics and asking about what kind of demand there is for vet techs and what colleges THEY recommend. It sounds corny, but I think most people enjoy taking the time to talk with an ambitious young person who is thinking about their career and education.

Consider volunteering at a vet's office a day or two a week. You'll get some great training, good advice and cement a future job opportunity.

I think i will talk to the vet my barn uses,they might have some good direction for me.I already assist with all the shots and whatnot whenever they come out.....
